The Kristen's Board Memorial Contest was a huge success. While looking for ideas, I happened to notice that August is Romance Awareness Month. That sounded like the perfect reason to have another story contest with the consensual theme.

Theme: Consensual stories
Language: English
Length: Short (1,000 to 5,000 words)
Required Tags: Eng, Finished, Short, Con, RomanceAwareness (the tag will be available when the contest starts)
Deadline: August 15, 00:00 CET
Voting Window: One week.
Rewards
The winner will receive a special title of their choice (unless they are part of the moderation team).
The top story will be pinned for a week to the public stories forum.
Authors of the top 5 stories will receive the relevant season pass score: 1 - 25, 2 - 15, 3 - 10, 4 - 5, 5 - 5
25 reputation points for the winner, 10 for the runner-up.
If you want to enter your story, please post it in the public stories board and reply to this thread with a link to your story. Also, the subject line of your story should reference the contest in the following way:
Title of your story - Romance Awareness Contest
You may remove that reference once the contest is over. Also, please include a link to the contest thread before the beginning of your story and tell your readers that the story participates in the contest. You do not have to wait until August to post your story, but the story must be posted before the deadline in order to count. A reminder countdown timer will be announced starting one week before the deadline.
While our original plan was to keep the contests running as normal as long as we could, that seems no longer feasible.
With activity dying down in light of the forum shutdown interest in contests seems to fall as well.
In accordance with @RapeU's announcement here, all planned upcoming contests for the July-December 2026 season, and the community contest are cancelled.
There might be a final contest before November, but it is not yet decided.
