Well. At least I did better than I thought I would.
My pen name suggestion is still in the game.
And next week I will be pressed for time and have no good idea for the theme either...

I just wish I would have gone out in a match against a direct oponent

And I am not good at identifying the other contestants

@Claire : Don't you have to reveal teh identity of @Evil Twin Number 3 as well since he was eliminated from the tournament? [Edit: Forget what I said :jtears: ]

Cool beans. It looks like I'm still in the game. We shall meet up on the green fields to do battle - there can be only one! Or, for now, two.

@AdmiralPiet I'm sorry to see you go. :/ And you're right. @Lucius already scolded me for forgetting about @DayDreamNights. I added that to the post.

@SoftGameHunter "there can be only one" is not a bad theme. Maybe I'll steal that for the final.

I'm having a hard time participating in the site. I've so much paid work I hardly have time to write for my own pleasure or to feed my own library on sales sites. I thought I'd update old work here, but some of those are so gawdawful I need to rework them. And reading for pleasure has taken a back seat to researching for clients' podcast and blog posts. It is to be that they provided the research, but their research was AI-based, and they didn't check for accuracy. The only thing my regulars provide is the topic now. Then there are the real writers I ghostwrite for. I call them real writers, but they provide me with the plot (usually highly detailed), and I give them a first and second draft.

The changes sound really good. Hopefully, I'll get to slow down enough to enjoy the site at least. I don't write much rape anymore. I sort of grew out of that writing. I may post some of my 750-word stories here. Not all are rape, but some have it as an element. And I have some longer works that have rape in them.

Anyway, glad to see the site is growing.

Congratulations to the winners! It was a difficult topic that required different approaches. The results of all the duels show that authors view stories differently than readers.

I'm looking forward to reading the stories in the next round. Another exciting topic!

@MillieDynamite You are allowed to post consensual stories too :) we have a tag for that :) and you can even make stories with no or very little sex at all I think :) Would be cool to see whatever stories are within the rules here that you have or when you get time to rewrite some :)

@MillieDynamite Did you mean to post this by any chance in the announcement for the Community Favorites board? It feels a little out of place here.

I would love to see more of you here, but I guess it's not the worst thing if you got a lot of paid writing to do. I'm happy to hear you're able to turn what's a hobby for most of us into a paid job. :)

I was sick most of the week and developed a budding romance with my new snowblower. The midwesterner in me is saying I've seen worse, but a foot of snow while sickness fights to come out both ends still sucks. I might be a little late posting but I should have something in place.
