A good story @Darinost , and well-deserving of your win! Congrats!

I like your light-hearted, casual style of writing. Made it an enjoyable read. Poor Lana, she really got put through the wringer, but she was a bitch who deserved it too.

Good stuff. The garbage part was a bit too gross for me but I like your pinpointing the moment where she actually broke for good. True violation lasts a lifetime.

A well-written Arizona dream nightmare! With such a variety of experiences and torments, it's no wonder not everything was to my liking. As an aside, it's amazing how squicks work -- for example, I love the dumpster bit... but am thoroughly repulsed by face-cutting.

I finally got to reading this story. I found the premise of the story interesting and the voice of the narrator early on kind of fun. But to be honest, I lost interest in the story quickly after that and skipped to the end after the "policemen" had their way with her because I wanted to know what the reveal would be that turns this into a Rube Goldberg story. Overall, it's not my cup of tea, but I'd say it was well written for the most past, though I think it would probably help to cut the word count in half for this story. Not necessarily to reduce the number of scenes, but to linger less on them because the men in this story feel all very much the same to me, so I don't need to spend that much time with them.

edit: But in line with the Book Club dicussion topic I just started: Great title for the story!

Really enjoyed the story.

The plot with its backdrop of guys undertaking meticulous planning and a focus on ‘deserving’ victims added a lovely narrative.

The incremental and seemingly endless suffering also made it very hot. For those who’ve read any of my comments previously will know i secretly fantasise about my wife - and this story was very visceral in terms of me switching Lana with my wife. I enjoyed it a lot
