I am several chapters deep into this intriguing story, and I'm enjoying it so far. I do genuinely get an insidious, creeped-out feeling from reading about the way they think, the way they prepare, how people like James see these women. It's scary.

(As an Australian myself, however, I am a little mad. Just a little.)

Thanks everyone. I'll be back to posting regularly hopefully within a couple days. The longest part of posting this story is the re-reading and editing, and changing things. I'm not doing any fundamental changes, but polishing things like correcting for continuity. For example, I just did some work on Chapter 42 or 43 where it describes events from Lake Hiawatha in pretty graphic detail. I haven't published that here yet but when Pharma was originally released LH was up on RavU.

Should be back with the next few chapters soon. Things definitely pick up from there...

Thanks. There's some time to catch up. I'm taking a few days off from posting while some stuff gets sorted out in the background. I'm also toying around with the idea of making a PDF version of the story so far.

I worked with fbhkbki on this one, too. It started as a simple request and kept getting bigger, and bigger, and bigger. I saw a story I wanted to tell and it just took off from there. Last time I checked the word count I was around 350k. Word breaks at 200k in a document.

If you want to make the pdf pretty, i can run it through tex, like I did for the december cunt auction collection. Pharma does deserve a suitable packaging.

I think I might take you up on that once I get through the edit/rewrite. I'm also thinking of doing a couple other things for the HCU like a map and character portraits/profiles.

Everything that gets posted here is considered a final version. About 90% of the edits I've done to post here are either grammar or spelling fixes. I've changed a couple small things for continuity and just rewrote a section in a chapter to remove some pretty big spoilers for a story I haven't posted yet. If I've posted it here, it is in its final form.
