Voting for the Semi-Final is over!

Semi-Final 1 was a close race in the beginning with the @Ink Splotter taking an early lead. But by the end of it, @Spiderman triumphed again with a clear 16 to 8 victory, thus eliminating... @LtBroccoli in the process!

So a 16 to 8 victory. I'm pretty sure at the time that was our second highest rated story. You did well!

Record Chaser as a story means a lot to me. And when I started reposting it here after the launch, it was basically ignored at first, partially because some were already familiar with it from RavishU, I guess. For a while I thought it might suffer a similar fate as the German version of Infinite Rape: very popular on RavishU, but forgotten on the last page here because it was posted too early on the forum.

But then it kept getting feedback and made it to a rating of 29 before I even posted a new chapter. It's really nice to see that the story made it to the community favorites board after the very slow start it had. Not in a million years would I have guessed that a non-contest story wold be the first one to make it to the community favorites board first.

I really hope the story will do its job of getting readers to comment on other stories once @Vela Nanashi has coded the new feature that allows to unlock stories with reputation.

And anyone writing a community favorite will earn the title of "Renowned Writer" and get a golden user name like I have right now. But I'll return to admin red tomorrow. I hope we get some author to wear the golden name soon, someone who doesn't have to hide it behind red, green or purple.
