The Dining Hall is the perfect place to take a break from your studies. Meet your fellow students or colleagues to chat about anything else the world has to offer. For the most part, any interest you want to share is fair game—just steer clear of contemporary politics.
In this thread, I want to create a list with links to author's profiles on other sites. If you're an author yourself, please post links to where readers can find you and I'll add the information to this first post.
In general, I think I've seen authors of our community use three other plattforms to post their stories. But please let me know if I'm missing any.
This is something I didn't want to ever have to do, but the time has come to admit my limitations and my mistakes. The forum is going to close in November. Here's the main reasons why:
1) While writing is a tool I use to help with my mental health, it is not the only tool I use. At this point keeping the forum alive for the sake of my mental health will end up causing more problems than relieving them. I'm also going to teach at a much larger...
Hi all. I meant to include ways of staying in touch in my last announcement post, but forgot about it due to the craziness of real life.
I'm sure at some point down the road someone will try and revive this type of forum. Or maybe some other story websites exist that I or someone else doesn't know about. Either way, the biggest gripe I had about The Black Van shutting down was how the admin team told us then immediately disabled the website to...
There is different terms for our stories or our kink in general and I would like to know what you think about these terms.
Rape fantasy is the term I usually use. I think it's the most accurate term to describe what our kink and stories are about. I think some may dislike it because they want to distance themself from endorsing or downplaying real rape? But to me, the fantasy-part already does that sufficiently.
Episode 9 of the second season had a couple shocking moments, the most ravishment themed one was that Ariana was almost raped. In typical TV series fashion she got her shirt torn open to reveal the kind of bra that women don't really wear anymore in real life. Then as her rapist was undoing her jeans, she was saved from being raped.
We can use this thread to discuss the show as well. Thanks.
Any of you who are even remotely into gaming will likely have at least heard of last year's Game of the Year Clair Obscur Expedition 33. And I'm naturally curious whether there are any players here beside me? :)
What did you think of the game? Does it deserve the hype? I enjoyed playing it a lot and I agree with most of the praise. I love the story and characters. As a fan of older Final Fantasy games I really liked to see turn based combat...
Literary fiction novels are the sea mammals of the Literary Ocean -- sometimes they look like other fish, but you can't really mistake them for anything other than what they are. Thar she blows -- for the delectation of the Nobel Committee! The largest, fattest right whales are surrounded by the too-clever-by-half dolphins of experimental fiction, and in certain waters one encounters the odd metamodernist...
Genre fiction! Hemmed in by conventions and expectations, looked down upon by the academia and the Nobel Committee, yet so beloved.
Which genre in particular draws us in, and why? The boundaries between the types presented in the poll can be fluid, and Porn is fittingly next to Romance -- I'm prepared to hear an argument for those two genres being one and the same.
For me, it's historical fiction first and foremost. Doing it right,...
I’ve been reading about the type of media we partake in when it comes to our fantasies, and it got me to wondering about what elements we prefer within those fantasies. Victim types, places, snippets of dialogue, things like that.
Me? I enjoy stories of institutionalized violations – women-behind-bars exploitation movies, for instance. Futuristic dystopias. Secret police in brutalist fortresses. Noncon on a societal level. Victims caught in an...
I have been getting sexually harassing phone calls from a mobile phone number in Canada, and they are trying to blackmail me. I am NOT the go to the cops type. Can anyone help me find out WHO is making these calls
I often come across clips from mainstream movies (of non-com scenes) and can't identify the film from which it came. Therefore, I'd like to request all your help in these matter.
The first one is foreign and dubbed into English. A distinguished man breaks into his therapist home as she sleeps, asks her if she has told anyone about him, and then accuses her of putting other demons in his head before he rapes her in a hallway. He...
There are truly many ways to immerse yourself in fantasy, to be inspired, to masturbate to it, or whatever...
You can read a great story here, find porn or related images online, there are rape scenes in mainstream films, and of course, there's your own fantasy.
So, what appeals to you most? What excites you, what doesn't? And why?
I'm curious to know how open you are with the people in your life when it comes to your interest in rape fantasy stories. Do you feel you can share that with your partner, your friends, family even?
In my case, I'm mostly keeping this to myself even though I'm now running this forum. I will probably share this with a future partner, at least after a while. Probably not a good idea to mention this on a first date. But when it comes to...
Most of us are here are writers of erotic fiction and stories involving forced sex in particular. But who of you has dabbled in normal fiction? Or maybe even non-fiction? In case you've published anything, don't worry, I'm not asking you to reveal what you wrote and your real name. But I'm curious whether rape fantasy was what you started your writing career with?
In my case, Record Chaser was actually the first piece of fiction, not just...
When I hear the term role play, my mind doesn't associate that with rape role play or erotic role play of any kind. My mind wanders to Pen & Paper RPGs like Dungeons and Dragons. I loved to play these when I was younger. Honestly, I would probably still love playing them if it wasn't so damn hard to find a group to play them with regularly once you are out of high school.
And I am curious to hear from those who are into rape role play here. Is...
My Esteemed Schoolmates,
Would you rather be an indebted, bankrupt ruling monarch of a woefully impoverished nation
- or -
The lowest servant in the luxurious palace of a billionaire?
Here's the scenario.
You are enjoying an absolutely amazing Amazon River cruise.
After a sumptuous feast of a lunch, you take your drink out onto the bow to take in the sights and sounds of the jungle.
You are then suddenly deafened by a loud, forceful explosion that propels you overboard by 100 ft. or so.
After a moment or so in the water, you regain consciousness and control of your faculties and look back to see the boat completely...
After I saw @LaLia base her story Wrong Choices on a game she played, I wondered what else the community might be playing.
Dr. Pink Cake's Being a DIK is a very popular adult game that draws you in the with the promise of spicy scenes but makes you stay with the well crafted story and fleshed out characters. It puts you in the shoes of a young man (his name is for you to choose) just starting college and the chaos he gets absorbed into after...
It's time for a new question, one that everyone can probably relate to, although perhaps the authors can even more.
The question: When you write stories, is there a difference for you (emotionally, intellectually, psychologically, and physically) whether you write in the first person, and especially when you put yourself in the role, or when you write as a narrator ?
I'll start with the naked truth, as I've recently noticed this myself. When I...
Come one come all! Poke someone playfully, poke them sexually, maybe even evilly, poke a member of the opposite sex, poke a member of the same sex, poke them in your home, poke them in their home...
...or just go poke!
THE POSSIBILITIES ARE ENDLESS, SO GET OUT THERE AND POKE UP A STORM!!!!
I use a Chrome extension called Reader View for pages with a lot of text content, but it doesn't play nice with phpBB topic pages.
So, I wrote one.
It shows one post at a time, makes the text bigger, and hides almost everything except the content of the post. There's a drop-down for navigating between the different posts and buttons for switching back and forth between reader view and the normal one. Here are a couple of screenshots....
