If you are not against sharing what erotic art site that is maybe we could cross pollinate some :) @praetor3d

Indeed. I'm good with linking other websites of similar content. If they can point people to us, that's even better.

@praetor3d Thank you so much for the support. I always hoped to see you here more often and I feared a little that the overall lackluster and unproductive response you received for your comments about comments topic might have driven you away. I really appreciated you creating that topic back then. There was so much denying or downplaying the problem going on that it was really nice to see that somebody else tried to take the issue seriously!

The saddest thing is, that it completely misses the point because even if that were true and not just a coping mechanism for mostt who say that, it would still not help solve anything. In a community with little to no feedback, it's obvious that those who remain are the ones that can do without much feedback. That's just survivorship bias. But it seems to be diffocult for people to understand that.

Maybe that's a cynical take on my part, but I think the poor feedback culture is just learned behavior. If you look at RavishU but also our other predecessor forums, then this seems to have been the norm for so long that for many imagining it being different seems to be difficult. You see so many "explanations" that come down to "that's just how things are, nothing you can do about it" that I believe by now that especially the long running members of the community have been conditioned by the prevailing self-destructive feedback culture that it is a herculean task to get people out of this again. That might be a little easier in a community that's mostly reacting to artwork because consuming an artwork takes less time. But I still don't think that changing this community is impossible.

I think I just have to admit that I'm lacking certain qualities to do it. My expertise lies in addressing the structural isses that plague communties like ours and I think I've done a pretty good job doing that. But I think I lack the charisma and communication style to turn my sober, evidence based analysis into a compelling, passionate narrative that motivates people. Somebody who can do that might have a better chance at succeeding what I tried to do.
