On October 3 8:00 CEST we will finally complete the ownership transfer of the forum from me to @RapeU. I'm sorry that this took us so long. We were trying very hard to get the Abelohost support to help us do this transfer in a way that avoided downtime for the forum, but we weren't able to do it.
So here is what will happen. On October 3, I will put the forum in maintenance mode. You will then see a message informing you about the forum being down a while. From 8am on the forum will either be down completely or you might receive a warning about a possibly insecure connection from your browser when you try to visit the forum. Both are to be expected and no reason for concern.
While the forum is in maintenance mode, I will send @RapeU an up to date backup of the forum. He will then reinstall the forum on his Abelohost account. Once that is done, the forum will go back online and everything will look as before. How long that will take I can't tell you, but hopefully the forum will be back online again on the same day.

Looks like things are back on and everything works.
The actual transfer part probably took 30 minutes or so. Most of the downtime was because I had no idea what I was doing for several hours

may still be some cobwebs and dust in places though, so if anything seems broken let us know and we will attempt to fix those

Seems like the transfer is done for now. Some parts we were able to do faster than expected, like waiting for the support to do its part. But then we ran into some issues that ultimately @Vela Nanashi was able to help us solve. Show her some love, it would have taken us much longer without her.
