Hey y'all

Post by Joseph »

I live in AZ, and I really admire the writing in this place. There's a fair amount of serious writer here, working on their craft. That's not what I pictured before I came here.

I used to write a lot, but I'm 70 now, and my brain has slowed. Apparently not my libido, though.

I have a story to put up, but I'm still figuring out how to do that.

Hey @Joseph, nice to hear you like it here. :)

So if you want to post a story, go to the public stories board and click on "New Topic". And everything else you need to know you can read in the:

Quick Guide to Posting Stories

But to summarize it quickly: Make sure you include the words

The author of this story has read and accepted the rules for posting stories. They guarantee that the following story depicts none of the themes listed in the Forbidden Content section of the rules.

Somewhere before the beginning of your story. And then you add 4 tags to your story that tell the reader wheher the story is finished or unfinished, English or German, Flash fiction, Short, Medium or Long, and NonCon or Con. You can add up to 6 additional optional tags to describe your story but you don't have to pick any of those.

---

Also, let me say that I saw that you gave my story You a positive rating. Thank you for that! If you want to, look at that story again to see how you can format a story, how to include a disclaimer and how to apply tags to a story. I think it's a good example for that. But more than that, I would like to encourage you to rate stories you like more often and to leave a reply in the thread. On You, you left me a short comment attached to your rating. But if you had left feedback in the thread itself, I could have responded AND rated your feedback back. That way, you can gain reputation points yourself. The more reputation points you have, the more you can rate other author's stories (your ability to rate stories refreshes every 12 hours) and upon gaining 50 reputation points you become a Pillar of the Community. :)

And finally, highly rated stories get immortalized as Popular Stories and Community Favorites. So rating the ones you like makes sure they aren't forgotten. ;)

---

Sorry for dumping a lot of info on you! Regarding your own story: Just post it and don't worry too much about making a mistake. If something is wrong, a moderator will help you fix it. Nobody gets punished for choosing a wrong tag or forgetttng the disclaimer. We just help fix it and that's it. Looking forward to seeing your story!
My stories: Claire's Cesspool of Sin. I'm always happy to receive a comment on my stories, even more so on an older one!

Welcome aboard, and listen to Claire. She knows everything. You came at a great time (aside from hitting the holiday slowdowns), because we're looking for engaged writers and readers to really get into the craft of ravishment storytelling. We'd love more writers, but don't worry if you'd rather read, because if we all wrote it would bog us down with more than we can keep up with. Someone has to feed our poor writer egos.
